Cloudflare offers a content Delivery network with DNS distributed world-wide. Technically the information transfer between your Browser and our Website is led over the network of Cloudflare.

IPinfo

In order to provide you with location- or country-specific content, we use the service ipinfo.io to determine your two-digit country code. To do this, we call up the ipinfo.io service directly from your browser using JavaScript. The service uses your IP address and returns a range of information, such as the country code just mentioned or your internet provider. However, we do not know your IP address and only store the two-digit country code locally in a cookie on your computer (e.g. UK for United Kingdom).

4. Social media

Shariff social media buttons

Our website uses the plug-ins of the following social networks. To integrate these plug-ins, we use the Shariff plug-in.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in improving the quality of our website.

Shariff is an open source program developed by c’t and heise. By integrating this plug-in, linked graphics prevent the following social network plug-ins from automatically establishing a connection to the respective social networks server when you visit website(s) on which the plug-ins are integrated. Only if you click on one of these linked graphics will you be forwarded to the service of the respective social network. Only then will information about your use of our site be recorded by the respective social network. Outsourced data processing: We have entered into an agreement with Google for the outsourcing of our data processing.

Demographic data collection by Google Analytics: This website uses Google Analytics’ demographic features. This allows reports to be generated containing statements about the age, gender, and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising from Google and third-party visitor data. This collected data cannot be attributed to any specific individual person. Matomo

This website uses the open source web analytics service Matomo. Matomo uses technologies that enable the recognition of the user across pages for the analysis of user behaviour (e.g. cookies or device cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Matomo about the use of this website is stored on our server. The IP address is anonymised before storage.

With the help of Matomo, we are able to collect and analyse data on the use of our website by website visitors and to analyse it. Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking

This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising program from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

We use YouTube on our website. This is a video portal operated by YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, hereinafter referred to as “YouTube”.

This site uses the CleanTalk plugin from CleanTalk Inc., 711 S Carson street, suite 4, Carson city, NV, 89701 USA.

With the help of this plugin contact requests from real people are distinguished from spam requests. To do this, all data entered is sent to a server in the USA, where it is analyzed and stored for seven days for comparison purposes.
